Bristol LITTLE BOYS TAKE ON EUROPE'S BIG BOYS

JSSi Under 9’ 10’ 11’s competed in the 'Ostertunier' Easter weekend
Tournament in Germany. Flying out from Bristol Airport to rub shoulders with some of Europe’s big 'BUNDESLIGA' names such as
Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Eintracht Frankfurt Buyern Leverkussen, FC Metz, FC Zurich and others. A challenging tournament playing some of Europe's finest academy teams.

What a fabulous experience for these young squads who at the end of the tournament were presented with medals as the tournaments youngest players. The U9 squad included some boys aged 7 and 8 led by team Manager Richard Snook and finishing an impressive 9th out of 28 great teams!!!!.

All of the players stayed with German families and made some good friends from other countries and learned about the German culture and their way of life.

All JSSI players love visiting Germany and its the personal kindnesses
which are remembered and which they particularly appreciate.

Once again this tour illustrates the incredible life of a young JSSi
player and the lessons learned by such tours are not only those of
football -playing against leading clubs but also the thrill of
representing your club and country well and seeing life in families from
other countries.

The social confidence this gives young players in life is
something priceless and a joy to see by the staff and parents.
