JSSi squads travel to Barnstable

Jssi U12 U13 and combined U14/15 development squads traveled down to Barnstable to play Plymouth Argyle Development Center during the school break.

All jssi players played against opponents which were 2 years older in some instances!.

The boys often learn more about themselves when under pressure to make decisions by quicker stronger players compared to local league opposition.

Its also refreshing to see players attempt to play the game without parents & coaches telling from the side line telling them what to do.

The parents we're very supportive on the day and needed encouragement.

All players were out of their comfort zone which was a great challenge for all jssi players to adjust too.

All players were positionally rotated and the groups were mixed.

Very productive exercise in the built up to entering JSSi squads into the Junior Premier League.

Well done to Chris Taylor & Ben Deacon who volunteered to travel & manage.

Jayne was very organised and Lee was professional on the day along with the players.

Onward & upward!
